One of my family members had eaten here & suggested we set up our annual Xmas Eve dinner here. Long narrow dining room running beside the pizza pick-up counter & register just steps from the front door. (think NYC hidden gem ) Staff was personable, attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered apps for the table first, and were content to chat, visit, and share the plates. Some may think it took too long for dinner to arrive, however..for us the timing was perfect. We ALL cook homemade, so, when we dine out, we hope the food is as good or better than we can put up ourselves. HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK ! Our orders were varied: beautiful stuffed salmon dishes, Scallop/shrimp Ala vodka sauce over pasta, chicken franchise ( served over thin pasta) Eggplant rollantine apps & a dinner, Chicken Marsala, calamari, Linguini w white clam, penne Ala vodka w/choice of salad or pasta side.- We have not one complaint! We all have been raving !! ALL dishes were absolutely excellent! Such a nice hidden find ! BYOB We will be back again and again and again ! Thank you !

We love the food !!! Pizzas , pasta , entrees . dine in or take out , catering orders too . Great service and good food . Stuffed salmon was delicious .
Very happy to find a pizza place in the area that does sausage and pepper pizza right! Thin sliced green peppers and lump sausage (not sliced not crumbled). So Good!
We stopped in for the first time and had a good experience. The restaurant is much larger than it appears from the outside. There is both an area for grabbing a single slice of pizza and a separate sit-down dining area. Both spaces have a warm and cozy atmosphere. We had individual slices, which were fresh and delicious! We're looking forward to returning for a full sit-down meal.
I don't know how many people use the "too good to go" ap... but if you do it's really great to do... I'm new at it but ...I have to say this restaurant is by far ... the friendliest and most accommodating...they heat up the slices to a crispy goodness. The sauce is tangy with deep tomato flavored... great cheeses and toppings.... I HIGHLY recommend this Village Cafe!!!! I'm excited about visiting during actual dinner hour.... can't wait!!! Thank you to the owner!
It is a small building with large flavors. Excellent Veal and chicken franchise. Very moderate prices very well worth the visit.
I am a little biased because my dad Polo works here however this place has some of the best food for the best value around Monmouth County. I’ve tried many things on the menu throughout the year and the quality has only gotten better. My favorite being the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. My new favorite though is the Chicken Avocado Panini which is always made to perfection!
